The National Senior Pro Rodeo Tour comes to Montana in late June every year.  The rodeo swing includes Augusta, Hamilton, and Darby.  Contestants from the United States and Canada travel to Montana to compete in all standard rodeo events.  Their goal is to earn points for qualification to the Senior Pro Rodeo Finals held in Las Vegas each October. 


This year, NSPRA in Darby will include rough stock!

Slack will start at 10:00am on Thurs, Fri & Sat

Performance at 6:00pm on Friday & Saturday

The Elite Bull Connection pits some of the best bovine athletes against the best bull riders in the Northwest and Canada.  The 2018 competition will include TWO NIGHTS of 30 of the Elite Professional Bullrider's top talent! 


Along with the event itself is the Pink Bull Explosion.  It is a bull that is actually pink and represents a ride of special note for the Tough Enough to Wear Pink organization. They make this happen with the Pink Bull Explosion.  In 2014 $10,400 was the money awarded to the Tough Enough to Wear Pink organization through this very special "Pink" ride.  


Elite Bull Connection gates open at 4PM and the nighttime action starts at 6PM.

Broncs & Barrels - September 14 & 15

In September two of Rodeo's most recognizable events will be rolling into Darby to showcase their timeless appeal.  A futurity Saddle Bronc Bronc Bustin and Barrel Racing so fast it will get the Barrels Burnin.


 The Darby Rodeo Association in cooperation with The World Class Bucking Horse Association are proud to present the 2018 Bronc Bustin in Darby Montana.  The World Class Bucking Horse Association is committed to assisting the people dedicated to the Professional Bucking Horse Futurities and set the utmost standards to propel these events to the highest level, increasing the value of quality bucking horses and improving the bucking horse industry.  Furthermore, we are determined to give the public the opportunity to watch the most elite 4 and 5 year old saddle broncs in North America do what they do best....BUCK!!  

Action starts at 6pm.

Then here come the barrel racers!!  The greatest competitors from around the country are coming to this event and every competitor trying to shave that 100th of a second off their best time.  This event is not judged by anyone's point of view, but the clock!!
